Dr Julia Stamm is an award-winning founder and tech-for-impact leader with nearly two decades of cross-sector experience tackling global challenges.

She draws from academia, government, and business to do what most specialists cannot: synthesise across silos, across sectors, and across generations.

Her work has always centred, and will always centre, on the same question: what does responsible look like from here?

A sociologist with a PhD in philosophy, Julia has built her career at the intersection of academia, policy-making, business, and civil society. She has held executive leadership positions in European and international organisations including the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), the European Commission, and the G20 and has served as trusted advisor to leaders and organisations in both the public and private sectors.

She is currently Founder and CEO of She Shapes AI, and a Founding Committee Member of the AI in Media Institute (AIMI). She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), London, a Fellow of the Centre for Digital Governance at the Hertie School, Berlin, and a Curriculum Advisor to the MBA Programme of the London Interdisciplinary School.
